Recently got a 8010. The tachometer has been replaced about 1000hrs ago with a factory looking new replacement one. I can’t verify where the tach came from, but I checked it against a hand held tach, and at 1000rpm on the tractor dash, the hand held says 1200 rpm.
The tach runs smooth all the time, there are no “dead” spots where it jumps around. So, my question is, where do I start to try to correct the problem? Or should I say, is there a way to test anything without throwing new parts at it first? |
