Im trying to help my father in law get a operators or parts manual for this old (assuming 1930's) Allis Chalmers / Rumley Threshing machine. We can't seem to find any serial numbers and my father in law and friends want to get this thing back up and running again. Any help is appreciated. I will be posting lots of pictures in the comments. Thanks in advance

Thanks I'm just trying to help my father in law and his friends out, by identifying the year/ model etc so we can try and get our hands on a parts or operators manual. Any help being sent in the right direction would be grateful.

Threshers were generally numbered by the screen size, smallest dimension first. For example, 22 X 38. Last year of production for threshers is 1936, per Wendell's book...
Measure the screens, and that's your model number, I would think...

On what part of the thresher are the Ebersol decal and tag located? Is it on the main machine or is it an attachment added to the thresher? If it's an added on attachment, could you post a picture?

It's gotta be towards the very end of production, being that it's an A-C and not Rumely, since Rumely was bought out in the early 30s. And to clarify, the size is based on the cylinder width (first number) x the width of the separator screens (second number). The 2218 stamped on that metal tag is likely a serial number, on my Case the serial number is also stamped on the main frame. Maybe Matt (Jordan,MN) will chime in, he has a machine also but it's fully painted not galvanized.
