Maybe it’s just me, but most of the tillage equipment sold cheap, yes most was older vintage stuff, but for a guy just starting out, I would have been an overjoyed buyer.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

yeah, makes me wonder what the market is in Montona. Not nearly as centrally located as say someone in Illinois

. Grain prices low, all other input costs still high ... Interest in bidding equipment prices high is low. National stats show high credit card balances increasing. .

Some really nice original tractors went cheap. A D21, 7060, and a WD45D for $2,200! That would have brought $4,500 here at least and it’s a runner. The 220FWA brought $93,000 wow. Big money. Some good buys for sure.

Location, location, location! I didn't know about this and way too far to drive anyway or I could have filled the big trailer and the Dodge for cheap. Hope that stuff didn't just go to scrappers.

My mothers house is 7 miles from where the auction was held. I bought three pieces down there and the prices were pretty inline for the area. I spent all day down there loading out and most of the rigs showing up were from North Dakota, Wyoming, and South Dakota which is actually pretty close. The old farmstead was like a museum. Nice Place.
