Hello, I am new to the forum and in the UK. I have an ancient roto baler and I am interested to find out what the model is and how old it is. My father used to use it and I have photos of the rounded bales in the fields of our farm and also stacked on a trailer. The baler has been kept hidden in the back of a cart shed for very many years.
I’ll be very grateful if anyone has any information.
I will now try to upload some photos.

Somewhere on the left side frame, near the bale brake there should be a serial number stamped in the frame(?).  If my memory is wrong, someone will chime in as to the actual location of the serial number...Wink

If you are looking at the rear of the baler, it may be stamped at the top right, just under the roof/hood. Follow the right rear angle iron all the way up. At least, that's how most of them are on this side of the pond.

I'm not sure if any were manufactured/assembled over there, and if so, if the serial numbers were in the same location. I'm interested to find out.
