Is it very common for the detent shaft seal to leak fluid, there is not much rubber on that metal clad seal for oil to get past it & the shaft? Thanks Dave

If I remember correctly there is enough room in the valve body case that you can install two seals together and still get shifter arm on. Did that to a 8030 once and it solved the leak.
