Did AC ever offer WD's on steel, anyone have steel wheels for sale?

None of my books show it as an option but a while back I thought someone had a pic of one that had some coverted from something else.

There were no "factory" steeled wheeled WD's made. That is not to say there are none out there.
In fact some time ago I saw a D-17 on Steel on this web site.

Thanks Bill , I guess I'll get out the gas-axe and buzz-box and make my own. Unless there was something else on 8 bolts that used steel. Case maybe?

anything can be made....the amish around here run tractors on steel...a guy has a 1066 I think it is on steel...kinda funny to see.
