I'm having trouble determining if my masseyis gas or desiel. Seriel number is A9 74957 thank you if anyone can help I just want to put fuel in it.

It's got either a carburator, spark plugs and wires or an injection pump and fuel lines. One is gas the other diesel. If you don't know which is which you probably don't need to be using it.

Open the tank and smell it. Pretty easy tell what's in there.

I talked to a Massey guy and he said there is no Massey forum like this Allis site so I guess Massey questions are now coming to the Allis tractor forum?

Normally you are greeted with a welcome newby but I think protocol was skipped with the wrong color tractor question? Smile

TractorData.com says that 9A 74957 is a 1969 model.  I don't see production numbers but a bunch of them were built based upon the serial numbers. 

I agree with smelling the tank or looking for a carb.
