Have a 210 that seems to slightly drop the fuel as it sits.

I say slightly, because when I use the hand primer, even before cranking; there is resistance at the plunger. But as I pump, it never gets to be real solid when pumping. Also, while pumping, you can hear the fuel pass through something at the injection pump.

So after priming, it will smoke when cranking, but not fire.   However, while cranking, it takes one pump from the primer and it’ll take off right away. After running for a while, if you shut it down, even for only a minute, it’ll need to crank over a few times before taking off.

Looking for thoughts. New to us tractor, so past history is non-existent.

Low transfer pressure, delivery valve not seating, or transfer pump has ware in it. Have also saw delivery screw back out.                 MACK

I would put a gauge in the bottom of the transfer pump.  As soon as  you get it turning over it should read 8lbs of pressure then up -
When told "it's not the money,it's the principle", remember, it's always the money..
