what is the best way to get the horizantal pins in betwween the rails without removing the reverse rail ?   also what is the purpose of the the revrese lock out lever besides being a gadjet

got it done .  but i would still like to know why the reverse lock out lever its not a dragster

Apparently you've never made the shift from rolling along in 3rd and trying to go to 4th and hitting reverse. That's WHY it's on there.

no not on that on that 4ft long crooked stick  i sure cant wait to find out,  but all the parts for the reverse lock out from that little pivot down to the end were rusted off  suprizing the trans has minimal rust and should be ok  , it only has to do full pulls .   if ican find the parts i would like to replace them
