Great rebuild, very good machine shop, an interesting father and son team, very interesting channel but something went south will need to watch part two and maybe three to find out. Part three is not out yet. Maybe you guys can help figure out what went wrong?? This is the title of the video, sorry I don't know how to link it.

This Is Why You Don't Want To Buy A $500 Allis Chalmers Two-Ten Tractor...

.

I saw that 2nd video earlier today, comments under the video lead to conclusion the fuel injector timing was set wrong when the injector system was rebuilt. So when using that system to time the engine they were off.

They did NOT come to the conclusion there was anything wrong with the "static" injection pump timing. They checked the crank pulley clocking and inj pump static timing mark and all was acceptable. There still could be a problem with the automatic timing advance and they are having the inj pump re-checked for that. I'd think in the next 30 days or so we should hear what the problem was, as he uses this tractor in the field.

My money is still on fuel pump mis-assembled, so timing mark in the pump is in wrong spot. It was already proven to be wrong, and being a DC it is critical to understand where the weight carrier goes on the splined rotor. In the video when it was chiseling, it seemed to have a lot of diesel knock or rattle going through the field.
