I'm kind of new to this site, so bear with me as I try to use the right forum.

I have a simplicity 9518, also known as an allis chalmers 5015.  It is a 4x4 and I'm trying to rebuild the front axle.  Everything is working fine, except it needs all new seals.  The problem is trying to find the right part numbers.  I have a couple sites where I get most of the part numbers from for the rest of the tractor, but they don't show the front axle or the part numbers on their site.  Can anyone direct me to some sites where I can find the part numbers?  I do know that most of the part numbers are obsolete, but it gives me a place to start.  I have already found places for clutch parts, engine parts and other things I may need one day, it's just the front axle is hard to find.  I have one side apart right now and it had water mixed with oil in the wheel gear box.  The differential was clean with no water and all the parts on the hub look good except the seals.  Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Ken

Others will chime in, but I find that if you take a seal out and get the # off of the seal, lots of times you can get the part at a good quality parts supplier like auto plus (or whatever its called, in your neck of the woods).  Find the oldest guy there and he may be able to get it by measuring the size of the ID, OD and thickness.  Also search Hinmoto E series tractors (I don't remember the model # well, maybe an E-20?) Welcome to the forum, and good luck!Wink

The wheel spindle seal is available from Agco for around $50, part number 72098775. The LH and RH gear case gaskets are available for $25, part number 3281360M2.

Thanks, that is normally what I do.  I'm just worried that it may take some time to find.  It's a large seal, about 6" in diameter.  It goes between the two halves of the axle, and I can always put it together and use it while I'm trying to find it.  If I take it out of the axle, then it will probably be ruined and then I'm committed to wait till I found a replacement.  Since its winter, there isn't much chance of getting any water in it now, but when spring comes, I'd like it fixed properly.

Thanks

Ken
