I have a model B that will always stall or nearly stall if I reduce the throttle to idle quickly. If I reduce the throttle SLOWLY, the engine drops down to an appropriate idle speed. The carb is a rebuilt Zenith (model 10698A). Any ideas what’s going on or what I can do about it?
It’s frustrating to have to be so methodical about reducing the throttle. A hand crank-start engine makes stalling not so enjoyable. Thanks Chad Edited by Chad_in_PDX - 24 Oct 2022 at 1:29am |

Turn the idle speed screw in. Your butterfly is sticking in the bore.
