Checked sleeve standout on son's d 10 [reliance kit], two are dead flat even, 2 are maybe .001. Book calls for .002-.005 .  Even though the book says "DO NOT USE BLOCK SEALER'  I kinda want to put a tiny line around the flange. Do any of y'all pros do this ???  thanks keith so. va.

Hopefully you installed the sleeves without the O-rings to measure stand-out. I think I'd remove all of them and measure the thickness of the flanges to see if the workmanship is the problem. They should all be the same.

Can't speak to the D10 engines, but my experience with WD-D17-170 engine sleeves is they are made wrong. The aftermarket sleeve flanges are made too thick giving too much standout. So it is possible that the sleeves are made wrong.
