The "C" Allis should have the 8 1/2" clutch unit in it...I've never saw anything else in them besides that unit...I think only the early "B's" had the 9" unit in them...

If it has electric start, it MUST have the 8-1/2" clutch. Only crankstart tractors can fit the 9" clutch into the bellhousing with the size of the flywheel. This applies to B,C & CA tractors. Crankstart tractors can possibly have the 8-1/2" either by just useing the 9" pressure plate or redrill the flywheel for the smaller pressure plate. I've seen a lot of Crankstart tractors with a 9" flywheel and pressure plate with an 8-1/2" clutch disc.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

At the end, all of the B/C/CA's had the 8 1/2" clutch unit in them...yep, all of the crank start were 9" on the B's for sure
