wd-45 timming

the book tells me to line up the timming mark to the center of the opening, I take it they mean the clutch inspection opening? Oh and what does the 'f' mean that is beside the  timming mark on the flywheel?

If you look real close you'll also see a little arrow in the front of that clutch inspection hole. Set at fire with the throttle increased.
