    Posted: 27 Mar 2022 at 8:59am
Good morning everyone,

I’m currently wrapping up my current project, putting a new clutch and bell housing in the ol WD. I have the tractor back together, but for the life of me can’t get the flywheel cover back onto the bell housing. It seems to be hitting the oilpan, preventing it from going up high enough to let the bolt holes line up ( if that makes sense)

Is there something I’m doing wrong here ? Sure seems like it’d be a straight forward thing to put back on.   Was wondering if anyone had a picture of the cover currently on the tractor that I could reference

Thanks a ton

Turn it around and it will have to be forced upwards and I think it pushes against the arch gasket on the pan.

So I have the paint side facing out - and the arch sitting in - I’m assuming I need to bend it because the outside flares are hitting the oil pan preventing me from going up enough

The shield goes behind oil pan and against gasket. May have to use punch in bolt holes to push it up against gasket.                 MACK
