 Topic: Secondary Fuel Filter for WD45 Diesel

I have had a couple of guys ask me where to get the secondary fuel filter for a 45 Diesel. Supposedly, they could not get it from AGCO. That is the last fuel filter in the series before fuel enters the injection pump. It is the sealed metal throw away filter. I spoke to two AC dealers yesterday and they both had them in stock and the part number is still good and available. Pricey at $44.00 but still available.

If you post the # from AC it can be cross-referenced to others .
Know the filter on my HD4 was also used on other applications and was easy to find, once I made cross-reference, but local AC dealer did not stock it ..

I orderd one from orileys today, its in the wix book under wd45 - 6bd230 engine got it for 22.00$ ... hope this helps. You can also get on wix filter web site and look it up for wix filter no.

the wix number is 3191, and it woudl appear from all the posts readily available. I had been told they were no longer available, but that is clearly not the case.
