Wondering what the D21 on Wise Bros auction and the One Eighty gasser in Illinois  brought yesterday on the auctions ??

The pictures of the D21 looked good.  I am surprised it didn't meet the 15k the way everything is selling right now.  Maybe the pictures were deceiving?

I drove through at Wise Bros a week before the sale. D21 looked pretty good cosmetically to me. Don't know if it was 3pt or bare back. Figured it would of brought 18 to 20k

I fail to see the fascination with the D 21 , IMO, they were as ugly as the D-19  ( yes, we ran one OuchEmbarrassed !! JMO though.

D21 had the best tough look in that era, a series II turbo is one of the most sought after tractors and the money they bring proves it. Later 190XT series II and III also bring good money for a nice one. Especially the series III. D21 with the big rear tires and fenders made them look mean and the chrome grill made them a classic.
