Impressive how the grain cart at the beginning is being loaded while going across the end and follows the turns. Not like just going straight across the field.
I could retire quite comfortably on the money represented by the equipment in that field. Thanks for sharing the video.

Think of the daily diesel requirements. A few years ago, Progressive Farmer magazine did an article on a huge Kentucky based grain operation. I don’t remember if the farm was this one featured, but 5000 gallons per day is a number that has stuck with me.

Did they mention if they irrigate the corn? I heard mention of installing drainage tiles. All about the equipment. I can't see pop handing out hoes and having the kids manually chop weed. Speaking of weeds what is going on with Roundup? Getting harder to find in the stores. I see a lot of join the Roundup lawsuit ads on TV. |

I bet many of us would be happy to live on the crop loss they left on the ground.

Just to make sure everyone know, these Deere combines are considered a "Class 9" size. Claas/Cat's biggest machine is a "Class 11" in size. So, Deere isn't or hasn't ever been the largest size combines in the world.

How long did it take Deere to make a rotary? Since they finally offered one you cant get a conventional for corn or beans. What does that tell you? Nothing smells like a John.

If he keeps it full and never has to stop to unload, you're looking at 5,000+ BPH.

I always find it interesting that people talk about how green the fields are after we combine. But a 1% loss in 200 bu corn is 2 bu/acre. That’s 3 time what is planted

Yep, there you go using common sense and reasoning again! I just realized my math mistake. 6 times what is planted. 1/3 bu per acre at planting time |
