I have never seen spray on Teflon either. I imagine any type of non-stick cooking spray like ‘Pam’ would help. Actually any type of oil that you could spay on would be beneficial. Heck even waste oil spayed on should help.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Radiator Specialty company in the Gunk brand the Liquid Wrench spray with PTFE has Teflon in it. Great stuff that creeps in so is good penetrating oil , and the Teflon makes it very slick.
Almost 40 years ago BIL and I where threading old rusty 2 inch pipe my dad insisted we use after we dug and boxed a spring for cattle water. Used every kind of cutting oil on the ranch. Had a spray can of the Liquid Wrench brand that said Teflon on the can back then, we could do without the 4 foot of cheater we had on the handle of the threader. It is harder to find than it use to be, but I still have a can or 2. Don't know how it will do for this job but can really help on rusty nuts and bolts.
