    Posted: 30 Jan 2021 at 12:57pm
I have been offered these for me to purchase.  Neither seller nor myself know the value.  He just doesn't need them anymore.  Can anyone give me a range of value?  Anyone seen any of these sell?  I believe there is a piece on the inside as well.  Not sure what the total weight is either.  Thanks for the help in advance.

Thanks for feedback. If each side weighs about 300 lbs then that would be closer to 50 cents a lb. That's just a guess on what they weigh. I would be willing to buy at $300. At $600, I don't think so.

Thanks for letting me know. I wasn't sure if they were a/c part or not.

I am adding weight to tractor for chisel plowing a couple of hay fields, then using unverfurth cultivator to level it. I know I need the front weights but not sure these weights are really needed. So I may not make an offer.

Those say “Martinsville” in their casting. So, yes they are aftermarket items. Probably 300lbs each, so $.50 - $.75/lb?
If your tractor has no rear tire fluid, then those exterior weights are somewhat easy on - easy off, as long as you have a loader, forklift, or overhead shop lift available to assist.
Inner weights involve removing wheel centers from axles.

Not sure the guy knows that wheel hub has to come off for inner weights. That might not be worth it. I don't have rear tire fluid.
