After the whole theft ordeal, then driving all over the place getting the parts back together, the G lives again!  I put the last few pieces back together last night and it came to life first crank.  Man that was a good feeling!
 
A big thanks to everyone that helped me source parts and for all other help and support.  You guys are great!

Don't get me wrong, its still not restored.  The engine just had a stuck valve from sitting for something like 10 years.  I freshened it up and had it running, and thats when the parts dissapeared.  After that, I never did get to the painting part. 

None the less here ya go!

Looks good and solid, hope it turns out the way you wanted. They're getting way too pricey (danged tree-huggers are electrifying them all!).

When I brought my G home the first time I took the hood off and removed the spark plugs, and rolled the engining over. Then looking through the spark plug holes I saw that one valve was stuck open. I pushed on it with a screw driver, it would not move, so I tapped on the screw driver with a hammer and it closed. I rolled it over again and the same valve was stuck open again. I pushed on it again and it closed. It has been working for several years now.

Dusty, so your saying you "played taps" and that scared the old girl into behaving?

Mine was stuck closed unfortunately.  I tried to roll it over and loosen it up but the sucker would not budge.  It would stop the engine dead with the starter or a bar.  I had to get vice grips on the valve and rotate it with lots of WD40 to free it up.  After I got it loose it moved free just like you said, but the head of the valve was mangled from the pliers.

Glad to see it back in shape. Looks good. Nothing wrong with a girl in her work clothes. Excellent job, and shame to whoever stole from you. Just remember to keep doing the right thing. You'll come out better in the end than they will. Karma is a MF(and I don't mean Massey-Ferguson, though they do suck pretty bad .LOL!)

DREAM it has gotten to the point to where if I need a replacement for the term MF I could easily use Massey Ferguson instead and no one on here could tell the differecne. LOL!!
 
Roddo that is a very cool looking G. I hope whoever done that to you gets their Massey Ferguson self caught and put away for a long time.

two G's at the Polk-McGrew auction: one with sickle bar and cultivators sold for $2000, the other looked good all over with plow went for $2500. Today two 210's,220,D21,190seriesIII sells
