Hey guys! New here.
Was very curious what manifold this may be. I’m looking to buy this 1950 WD and noticed this goofy manifold style I’ve never seen. Any help is very much appreciated! |

Just an old low octane fuel manifold.. When running high octane, you would take the cover off and when running the low octane, you put a cover on to help vaporize the fuel a little bit more from the heat of the exhaust manifold.

Oh wow neat. I have never seen one before.
Any negatives over the regular style is it more restricted? I’ve never owned a WD. Anything I should look for when going over it besides the obvious? I really appreciate it! |
