They are 14.9X24 old style 45 degree tires that were road worn and I trimmed up the tops a bit. They are a great match for the power that tractor has in 2nd gear for the light class.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

I had thought about using 26's from a D15 but they are a wee bit expensive

Its a Div 4 or Class B at the tracks she pulls. Meets every rule stipulation of those particular class’s.

Jack did Paul build you an engine? I am going to put a series II D15 engine in a CA to pull. Do you know what kind of power you make?

A G-160 engine in fine tune, placed in a D-15 series 2 will make 46 HP at the PTO @ 2,000 RPM. Install that engine (as-is) in a B-C-CA chassis and I'd expect it to make at least 50 HP because you don't have a hydraulic pump or power steering pump to operate. A slightly higher octane fuel and advance the ignition timing no more than 5 degrees MIGHT pick you up a couple more HP. More RPM's would work good with this change as well. A larger carb venturi or even a larger carb will help add to the performance in the higher RPM range, and more compression like LPG pistons at 9.35 to 1 keeps adding power.

This engine with have a 175 venturi. Higher compression would be nice. Is there anyway to achieve this other than LP pistons/custom pistons?

Or longer connecting rods or pull the sleeves and deck the block a bunch and recut counterbores for the sleeves. It all costs $$$$$$$
