On I-80 right as you cross the Mississippi into Iowa
from Illinois - there is the little town of Le Claire at the border ....

Less than two miles down the road in the alley behind the BP station
on your left is ' Antique Archaeology '

The home of American Pickers ......

I stopped by Tuesday around dusk & took a few pictures

Talked with the neighbors for about an hour ......

the episode in Ohio with the fellow with the White Castle was a tractor collector also. He said they filmed the clip 2-3 years ago hoping to sell it to someone, look what happened. He did not show them his big toys, 1568 or 2, some big fwa and others. Since that aired, he sold a lot of stuff !!!  Wiley in Pickaway county

We stopped by one day when Mike Wolfe was there - awesome guy.  My 10 year old son was getting his autograph and mentioned he races go karts.  Mike says - did you see my Ryan Newman driving suit?  Try it on!  Made my son's day for sure!

Them aint real Iowa boys!!  I personally like to watch them and pawn stars too.  You have to remember that its all scripted and edited.  Its is good clean entertainment and they do come up with some amazing stuff!!!!!

I have a theory. Maybe they have a secret Allis-Chalmers shrine somewhere and don't want nobody to buy any of it that's why you never see anything Allis-Chalmers related on their show.

Here's my $$$$ idea bumper stickers, T-shirts.
"If I was a picker... I'd pick Danielle"
" Be a Picker, Pick me"
                " Born to Pick"
                 " Pick till you drop"
         " I'm a Picker and I still picked her(arrow pointing)"
and of course, you can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends nose.
