I am just curious if anyone here bought anything on the Allen auction today. I missed out on parts. Check Metzger Auction for listing, I long ago gave up trying to post links or pics. It sure was an AC farm operation

Doug, that sign would have looked good at my place too! There must have been quite a few collectors bidding on stuff.

Gary, thanks for posting the link.

I bought the snap coupler rotary hoe. I was trying to bid on some other items but the page kept crashing on me. That AC barge wagon was sought after.

I couldn't believe the price of that wagon. Lots of great looking stuff at that sale. I'm glad you got something, bummer the page was messed up though.

Yeah, the wagon was amazing but most of the rest of the equipment went fairly cheap, IMHO.  The L combine was cheap enough, I saw a 15' bean head sell on Bigiron last Wed for over $700.

Most of the stuff was in good shape as well. Just been sitting outside a while it looked like. I couldn't believe that wagon.

I assume the wagon is rare. I should have hung in bidding on the tires I wanted but I set a limit and stuck to it, surely I will regret it. What tractor does the single front wheel fit?

The single front was off a Wd 45 it was later style that could be interchanged with a wide front. That being said it will also bolt on to a Wd or Wc.

I run a barge wagon to 2500.00 at a sale in Wis, and everyone couldn't believe it went that high, I guess I should've bid a lot more.

Doug: I've been told by an old AC collector that the single front is different for a WC.

Makes me think it is time to sell, I have a barge box and a big sign, maybe not as nice but I feel better for what I paid for mine.

The two bottom pin hitch plow went for $200.  I have one and a half of them on my scrap pile for the next time it goes out.

Wow that wagon went for $5100.  That was unreal especially with the buyers premium on top of that I assume!

I thought everything went for a good price, accept for the 2 row mounted with the tractor went very cheap if everything was operational.

John, The only issue I saw with 45 and the mounted picker was it was down and the tractor did not look like it had been moved in years.

“Gleaner” sign sold @ $1100. I don’t know what the “Allis-Chalmers” sign brought.
