Pto will not shut off unless you shut off the engine, is this major or can I fix it myself with the help of an IT book ? THX allisfarmer2

pto cable just needs adjusting,easy to do,its on the right hand side of the tractor back end.But the adjustment is a fine line,wont disengage one way or it wont stay engaged if adjusted a tad the other way.You can get the pto to disengage by also pushing on the brake pedal at the same time or pumping one of the hyd remotes at the same time as you push on the pto lever.Hope this helps.
