Restoring a 1956 Wd45 with the Tsx 464 carb. I purchased a used Tsx422 said to come off Wd45 but it’s smaller of course then the 464. Can I run the 422 carb on Wd45? How much will this effect the tractor? Thanks Dan Southern Iowa

The 422 usually comes on the 201 WC/WD engine which is the small bore Carburetor.  The 464 is a large bore Carburetor and is jetted quite differently from the small bore Carb. If you got it to work, I can tell ya right off the bat it would be to lean for the 226. If you have the 464 off the Tractor I offer rebuilding services and I can rebuild the unit for you. I also might have a 464 on the shelf ready to go. I'd have to check....

What's wrong with the 464? Rebuild it or ship it to Steve

Have a rebuilt TSX561 (which is the 464 replacement) on the shelf. $150.00 exchange or $175.00 outright.
