Looking to get some advice on my 190xt drive line. How much power can you put to them for pulling before they fail. I currently have a 2 pinion with hardened needled cross (Dennis Frey). Wanting to get a start on this winter's build. Also have deleted the PD.

Thank you for any assistance!

You going to be over a thousand HP I would think you should put blocks in the rear to keep the ring gear from flexing away from the pinion. Put a plate under pinion shaft where the pto goes threw and silicone to keep oil from moving forward and back rapidly.

Bsallis 180: thanks for the input. Otherwise shafts from clutch to input, transmission gears are good for 1000 hp?

It will twist off eventually. we have one that’s still stock size and splines but made out of harden steel has a slight twist, but from now on we are going with d-21 input size. At 1000 hp I think it would last for a good wile less for some reason you get the hooking and unhooking on the track pretty hate full. I would run with it

Not sure what your horsepower is but at the time we surpassed 1200 and ran that stock shaft for 3 some years. Not saying don’t change it but I wouldn’t put it at thing one to do on your need for speed priority list.
