Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? You stop drinking and get off the carousel.

A happy ending for everyone (except the poor kid that lost his tractor!). I bet those cops had a good laugh!

We have that same tractor for our grandson and in second gear it will move right along at 5-6 mph.

Toddler's tractor confiscated after driving to the county fair

by Brandon Bailey

RUSH CITY, Minn. (WCYB) - They see me rollin'...

In a wild story that would even catch the attention of the legendary George Jones, a Minnesota toddler decided to drive his toy John Deere tractor to the Chisago County Fair.

According to KARE 11, the toddler, who lives close to the fairgrounds, saw the rides from afar and wanted to see them up close for himself. A call about the child being missing came in around 6:51 that night, but the toddler was found by authorities just minutes later.

Chisago County Sergeant Jason Foster says the child drove his toy tractor down the sidewalk, into the fairgrounds, and over to the Tilt-a-Whirl ride. From there, officials say a state representative saw the child and called over a sheriff's deputy, who stopped the kid and made sure his dad was reconnected with the tractor-riding toddler.

The sheriff's office says the son's driving privileges were soon revoked. His dad pulled the battery out of his John Deere tractor, ending the adventure of the curious toddler.

We are out at the Chisago County Fair all night and through the duration of the fair. Stop by our booth and say hello!

First call of the night at the county fair was a missing 2 year old who drove his tractor from home, to the fair. He was reunited with Dad who promptly suspended his son's license by removing the battery from it.

We are only one call away if you need us!
