    Posted: 02 May 2019 at 9:02am
My good friend, Bill Senior passed away Tuesday night.  He was one of the earliest collectors and restorers of AC tractors in this area. He had some other makes. as well as British motorcycles , although AC was his first love.
He had a bad fall a few days earlier and broke his hip.  He was taken to the hospital for surgery to repair it but he never recovered from the surgery.  He was 86.  He was very well known in the collector community and will be sadly missed. His wife passed from a stroke a couple of years ago.  I have adopted his dog, Nell and his wife's little cat.  They enjoy life here on my farm.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday at the Irish Club in Edmonton.

I'm sorry for your loss.  It's difficult to lose a good friend.  And he experience that went with him.  May he rest in peace as he rejoins his wife up above.

Thanks for the condolences.
Here is Bill's obituary. http://www.connelly-mckinley.com/obituary_intro.php?id=6336 You can just see the top of his shop in the little picture of Bill in his garden. I spent many enjoyable hours in that shop with him working on early Allis tractors and crawlers, with the big wood stove keeping it toasty warm.  Being of good Irish descent, Bill always had a good garden with lots of potatoes!!

Sorry for your loss Phil.  A good friend is something like family.
My condolences for the rest of the family and the loss of a great man.

Unseen, unheard, but always near,

Sounds  like he had a good life and didn't suffer long.  Still, it's hard to lose a good friend, no matter what their age.  The shop looks substantial, great to have a nice place to work during your long winters.   With no kids, I suspect there will be an auction in the future.  I'm sure a glass or two was raised in his honor at the memorial!

His wife had two kids from a previous marriage many years ago.  Boy and a girl.  They and their families will look after the estate.
