Hi
I have a fuel tank that the filler neck has broken loose from the tank about 180 degrees around its perimeter.
What is the process or procedure to fix this?
Fill tank with water?
Use acetalyne torch to heat the lead (??) to get it to flow and reform?
Completely remove...clean both pcs and get some new lead (??) and weld it back on?
Let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance for the help.

Drain fuel, remove from tractor , clean tank, remove neck from tank , clean and re-tin neck and tank where neck mounts, re-solder neck to tank, clean repaired area, refinish to suit. Have a cold one. |
