Is there any value to C1004? It would take a complete machine to rebuild this one but it is the 4th C built.
Save it or let it go? |

IMO save it.
Dad had the opportunity to save L-1001 and let it go. I have yet to forgive him/ let it go. |

Gleaner: the properly engineered and built combine.
If you need parts for your Gleaner, we are parting out A's through L2's, so we may be able to help. |

Oh wow! L-1001! That would've been awesome!
I agree with the others, I'd try to save it. I heard from a friend that C-1001 used to be in Cordell, OK, in the Allis dealer's boneyard, but was scrapped out years ago, probably in the '80s.

Its just an opinion, but anything that low in serial numbers should be saved. Even if its hard to store such as a combine, its worth trying to save.

I understand the "sentimental" aspect, but I have to wonder why? Can it be used in the field anymore, heads with it or still available? Just asking is all, best of luck.

If nothing else, save the serial tag.
