When started, my WD-45 has great oil pressure-----after five minutes of operation it wants to drop down to near zero.  I have found that the top oil filter stem was clogged, so I cleaned it and it still acts the same.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Do you have a good filter. A couple years ago there were a bunch of bad filters made with pleated paper inside and a rubber ring in the bottom center. These should be off the shelves but maybe not. The Fram C159 was the only filter that was never made wrong as far as I know. If the stem was plugged I would think that would increase your pressure. Use a straight weight heavier oil or is it time for new cam, rod and main bearings.

use a fram C-159 for best results.
