My HD7G needs some lovin on the front right idler wheel. What's the best course of action here? New wheel or replace the bearings? What would you do?

Yep. Got the new pump installed and it's fine. But now I'm working with a broken idler and fuel injection pump that's not working. Know anyone that can work on a fuel pump? I'll post pics when I get back home.

I was thinking there was an outfit in AR that worked on PSB pumps, one of the few that still do but I cant remember the name.

Sorry to say the local shops here shudder when one comes in. Not much as to parts still out there but some.
I use Capital Diesel(Jefferson City MO) when I need diesel injection work but have no clue if they will have much. 573-896-5086 I do have my junker still in the barn as to the 7G, one idler is rough REALLY rough but bearings smooth the other is better shape physically but bearings are rough rolling. I also have the PSB off that tractor but have NO clue how it is internally. Edited by DMiller - 29 Oct 2018 at 8:37am |
