Ok guys,I went ahead and got the 3700 motor for the 210 this weekend.
Yes I will have to use some parts and pieces from the 3500 on the 3700 but that doesn't seem to be an issue as best I can tell.I'm going to take some video's of this little project and also attempt to put them on you tube as time goes. |

Well Doc the 3700 or at least the does has a cover the opening for the pump,so I took it today just to satisfy my curiosity and low and behold there is a gear in there for the hydraulic pump.

I'll try to get all the words in this time Doc,lol.
This particular engine has a cover over the pump drive opening and when i opened it today there is a gear in there,so I'm thinking that should run the pump.I know the rear plate will have to change too. Also the radiator hose is on opposite sides, and the alternator bracket.I will have to use my starter as the other motor didn't have one on it. I know this won't be an overnight project but I think it work out. |

You are one lucky individual. Now, all you have to do is make the front plate mounting ears fit the side frames of the tractor, swap the rear plate/flywheel and reconfigure the radiator lower outlet.

![]() I added the intercooler so had to move the lower rad inlet and swap sides with alternator. This engine also had the cover plate and the hydraulic will bolt up.

So looking at Calvin's project I'm kind of beginning to think maybe this is an 3500 instead of a 3700 since my motor has the tag in the same place, not sure if that means anything, lower radiator and alternator bracket too,so like I said not an over night project but very doable.

3500 no intercooler, 3700 has intercooler.

My 3500 MK II was on a standby waterpump. It showed 82 hrs total. This injection pump has been great so far but I've heard lots of negative comments with it on combine engines. Starts good. .048 injector tips. It came with the small water pump and no intercooler. I added the intercooler and big water pump. Stock injector pump setting and dynos 190 hp.

Just a little update.Have been cleaning the 3700
up some trying to get ready to paint(BLACK) and waiting on some gaskets,Have removed the rear plate from the 3500 and have got the dust cover and flywheel off the 3700. Also have the exhaust manifold off the 3700,I found a crack in it where the pyro screws in.Haven't done much the last few days as I don't any heat in the pole barn and I don't care for the cold when it comes to turning wrenches. |
