Is the belt size for a Woods L59 the same for a B and C? I bought a B with a mower and they gave me a new belt. The belt size is B215. All I can find is that the belt size for both is 226.3. Ted J said he thought they were different sizes. This mower is kinda rough but complete except for the pulley covers. Think I am going to sell it as I don't really need it. Any idea with the vague info given what I should ask for it. It would be a serviceable mower.

Everything is impossible until someone does it! WD45-trip loader 1947 c w/woods belly mower, 1939 B, #3 sickle mower 1944 B, 2 1948 G's. Misc other equipment that my wife calls JUNK!

I have both the B and C with a Woods mower and I use the same belt for both. As stated before I used the gates B225 which is around 226 inches around the outside of the belt. About 20 years ago I bought my first woods for the B with out a belt. I bought a woods belt from a dealer. I was not able to get a full two seasons out of them. I was buying steel belted industrial belts at the factory and bought one rather than a woods belt that was half the cost. That supplier went out of business and I switched to Napa belts. I adjusted the push arms for some of the belts until I started using the B225 Gates. I lucked out going to Rural King and finding a 226 inch belt. I would guess the belt you have could be made to work if you move the mower back one set of holes. I thought that was the reason for all the holes in the push arms.
