got these today, there's not to many around anymore that do auto upholstery
1952 Studebaker, was my granddads, I still try to drive my Studebaker 2-3 times a year..the original seat was pretty much gone, lights all work, including turn signals, still 6 volt, runs as good as an old Stude can,, with the tell tale blue smoke trail... |

I ran a 1 ton Stude wrecker for years, was a great little truck even tho it didn't have a syncro tranny! I think that it's still in service as a wrecker today at a place that restores old vehicles.

Neighbors down the road bought a Stude truck about that year with a van box on it. They only wanted the box and want me to come look at the truck. I been avoiding that place ever since. That seat and the whole truck looks awesome๐๐๐

Does it have the commander 6 in it? It should. We had one on the farm and it did a real good job. The straight cut gears in the trans, were a bear to shift smooth.

Leon, it has the 245 'Big Six' model 2R17A, yea, straight cut gear tranny, but with a little practice, shifts really good, gets lots practice 'double clutching'..

Michael, be careful about Shameless's offer, he's like Henery Ford and model T's, any color you want as long as it's PINK!
