I bought this 200 a while ago, has 75 hours on it since last complete service. I was changing oil/etc today and I changed the water filter. It looks like thick liquid rust in the old filter. This is the first tractor I bought with a water filter. I drained out a gallon and it got to looking like normal green antifreeze. Is this a common occurrence with a water filter?

I would completely flush cooling system by filling with water getting hot and draining and see what you have. That is not common but in the truck world I have seen it many times. 1 common mistake is changing the coolant filter every fall or twice a year. Most coolant filters are loaded with sedatives, you might think too much is better than not.....WRONG. Go to your auto parts store and get a coolant test strip usually Napa has them. Once you fill the cooling system with your coolant mix test the system and the test strip will tell you your ph balance and Nitrite percentage. Then you can either install a filter with sedatives or buy sedatives. I removed the coolant filter from my 200. I test all my machinery every fall for coolant protection and ph balance and Nitrite and adjust accordingly. Also change your coolant every 3 to 5 years max.

Yeah Jake, we sure don't want any yawning coolant lying down on the job running through that engine with those sedatives!  LOLLOLLOL

Coolent filter will be a round screw on, water separator for fuel will be a square filter.       MACK
