I saw on here  sometime in the past directions to do a 3 belt set up on a Woods mower. Can someone help me find it or repost the directions. This is for a Woods L59 mounted on an Allis C. Also if we keep the single belt what would be the ID for a new belt? Currently the belt pops off the PTO pulley as soon as the PTO is engaged. Could someone post pictures to show the correct belt and pulley setup that's on the back below the PTO on an Allis C?

Go to Woods webpage and download a manual. Should answer your questions.
Everything is impossible until someone does it! WD45-trip loader 1947 c w/woods belly mower, 1939 B, #3 sickle mower 1944 B, 2 1948 G's. Misc other equipment that my wife calls JUNK!

I believe it's a B223. Keep the single belt and download a manual. If the single belt is setup correctly it's very durable. The tension must be tight and setup correctly. The foward pulley on the twist mount must be as low as you can get it. Once a belt flips and start coming off it trash and you might as well replace it. I get several years out of a belt on my CA. But proper setup is the key.

I've got a 3-belt set-up on my CA with Woods L-306.  I've got some uneven terrain and the single belt would jump off if I went through an uneven ditch/gully.  We made this switch over 20 years ago.  Hope this picture helps.
