Looking for the bypass line on my 58 D 17 dsl. Agco part#70229839 or the old allis part #229839. Used or new, any help is great. Thanks Dennis

Have you checked with AGCO? You would be surprised that they can still get some of that stuff.

Have a picture of it? I have some lines off a 17 diesel.

That line has a hose section in the middle. If is just the hose part the is bad, there are crimp fittings that are made to braze or weld to the tubes and then crimp in place. I had to do this for the lift cylinder hoses on my 180, and also on a 72 GMC power steering hose.

If you decide to make one, be sure it is long enough to extend down below oil level in the front support or the pump will suck air back through, the pump has a passage from the relief valve area to the inlet port.

I parted out an early D17 diesel last fall. All the power steering lines are there. I don't have a parts book can you send a picture?
