I purchased some cultivation pieces for an Allis CA that I am excited about using. Usually I have used Uship to move equipment and tractors but have no takers this time around. Anyone have suggestions for moving these cultivators? It's the fronts and rear. The seller guessed the weight to be about 800 pounds, does that sound accurate? It seems that people use Fastenal for smaller items but I am doubtful that it can fit on pallets.
Do you have a favorite method for shipping that works for you? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance! Skuter

I like using Fastenal. Best thing to do would be to disassemble it and ship on a pallet with plywood base and sides. The rear toolbar laying diagonal on the pallet would determine the pallet length. Fastenal gives free estimates.

where are the cultivators ? I'm going to Minnesota in the spring with a trailer may have room. They would end up in San Luis Obispo county CA.

I'll look in to them. Fastenal is a little bit a way for the seller but might be worth looking into. He says the rear cultivator is 90" long or about 7.5 feet, so I have been pensive about that approach. I guess I could ask for the fronts to shipped out that way and find out about the rears.
Thanks for the tip Skuter

They're in Harbor Beach, Mich.
I guess if that worked out, I would need to find a way to get them up from Cali. A road trip would be nice, but that might make the wife a little cranky ![]() Thanks for the suggestion Skuter
