Hi guys. Finally decided to get a 5' wide rotary tiller for one of my D-14s and of course need to convert it to snap-coupler.I've downloaded pictures 3 or 4 different 'adapters'.
The tiller would be permanently attached(everything else is S-C !). I'm thinking of making my own adapter to save money,so I'm looking for any 'words of wisdom' and/or pictures if you've already done what I'm about to do.
I know I'll need a oneway clutch gizmo....
Also ,wondered about getting a 4' wide unit leaving the tractor at 5' to create 'foot paths'.
All this for 6 veggie gardens, less than 1 acre each around the 'neighbourhood'.

Jay !!  I would  use a drawbar mounted  hitch , much better  sway control than the old wishbone  ac  came up with.  you would have   your  3 point & still  be able to  pull from drawbar.    Tony

Jay, Like Tony says. I have a 3pt conv. from Tony on a D15 series II and use a 6` tiller. I just love it. That way I have 3pt and snap coupler available and your traction booster will work with your 3pt. You still have your factory draw bar. Works great!!

I disagree.  I would use the wishbone (quick) hitch.  Since you have all SC equipment it's not that hard to mount the hitch conversion to the impliment.  You can make a attachment point on the cross-tube to mount the toplink.  Then you can drop the tiller, and hitch together.  I use the drawbar mounted on D15, and have used both on everything from WD's to D17's.  For general purpose, I do like the drawbar mounted better.  But then you would have to drop the hitch, and the drawbar seperate from the tiller.  3 steps instead of 1.

As always great suggestions and a vasriety of thoughts.
 
I have to add I've  NEVER used either drawbar( 2 D-14s, 1 regular, 1 heavy duty),both collect dust in the corner...
 
I'm liking the idea of the adapter/tiller as 'one piece' as the tiller will be the only 3point implement.
 
Would appreciate more thoughts and a picture or two of a tiller setup,
