Took on the task today of taking apart, cleaning and re-assembleing the shift tower or transmission control as AC calls it for my WC project. Learned a trick today that may help others here, and that is when putting everything back together and you are installing the detent springs and balls a short peice of brake line with a flared end will allow you to press down without slipping and launching the balls and springs as you insert the shafts. Worked for me. Gary
