8000 series tractors came both 2 and 4 wheel,are the 4 wheel drive or assist,,is this manual or electric engage,,are all the 8000 come with 4 wheel drive,,pro's or con's.   thanks  Ed

It was an option ,, they came either way. It wasn't full time four wheel drive you engaged the front axle in with a button on the side counsel

They used a electrical solenoid that engaged a hydraulic clutch. It was a FWA.   
Like all FWA they are hi dolled to work on. No major problems.   MACK
