this question first occurred to me last years down at fred's when we hauled home steve's g. i thought of it again today. many of you remember the little old man character that tim conway played on the carol burnett show. has anyone ever seen tim conway and steve together at the same time?

Hey Steve
I see acouple of bars on the right side that I don't reconize. What might they be?
Great looking tractor. You'll have fun with it i'm sure, But it doesn't look like it needs anything done to it.

Is the proper RC steering wheel similar to the unstyled WF wheel?

Steve, Great addition to your stable. As you know RC's are a somewhat rare unit. You should be very proud to have one.
I saw one Thursday at Harrington with a bale loader attached.
Take good care.
Good Luck!

Yeah, dem is some big ole tars on the front there! Don't think the rears are correct, but they sure do look good on there. Might want some smaller ones on the front though. Might make it esier for you to see where you're going. Maybe a booster seat would help. LOL! Sorry, couldn't resist! Feel free to make all the fat redneck jokes you want on me, I like the abuse! LOL!

It is a wonderful thing to see a real AC collector develop. I can remember about ten years ago, when I first came into contact with Steve. I think he had just acquired his little B and he was slowly starting to get into making AC wire products, I think my B was the model for his first harness. We set the B up for display at the Gathering of the Orange at Kalamazoo, Mi. He had been into the automobile restoration business and doing quite well with it. He has earned a wealth of friends in the AC world and come a long way with this new AC business. I wish him all the luck and it has been fun knowing him. I hope he has a long way to go. Congratulation on the new acquisition and keep coming up with those wonderful AC products. Your friend, Dave.

Thanks guys for the nice comments. Even the "short" ones. lol! She's gonna be a sweet one when done. The wheels and tires that are on it according to the gentleman that I bought it from, said he's personal friends with the original owner, and the original owner claimed they were the wheels that came on it when he bought it brand new in 39'. Seems to be a controversy about these wheels every once in a while. Can't tell by me, but that's the wheels I'm stickin' with....

If every tractor we saw was a "cookie cutter" copy of every other tractor, we would get bored pretty quick. Good plan, Steve. Bob@allisdowneast

BTW- Thanks Big Al for posting the pics! At least it wasn't a let down that day. It did rain a little after all. Seems like every time Alan and I go on a Big Al Lil' Steve great adventure after a tractor whether for him or I, it rains! Sometimes it pours and we're like to drowed rats! I was surprised, I won't have to drill any extra holes in the seat adjustment or hose clamp blocks to reach the pedals! That's a good thing! LOL! I resemble that Tim Conway remark by the way Big Al! LOL!
