#2 plow with hyd lift

late last fall i bought a #2 plow the leaver on the left side was torched off and the trip too raise it wired open it had some brackets bolted on in the center of the plow frame for a cylinder so i put a lift cylinder of a parts wd on it  .    my question is how do you adjust the depth  .   was this an option ?  how is it to set up ?  any  one have some pictures ?

Sounds like a farmer mod. I would imagine you would put a stop on the cylinder for depth, or just use your hyd lever.

brackets look like it could have been a kit and oe paint the only things on here that have another coat of paint is what i   repaired .  if this was shop built all of the brackets were drilled and bent in a large press all of the plow frame was drilled . the part in the middle that hooks between the cylinder and the rear or left axle is a cast iron piece that looks like a giant rocker arm and has 314679 cast in it

This is from memory only.  Near the end of our dealership I seem to remember that the #2 plow could be equipped with a hyd lift.  I think it was for raising and lowering only.  I do think the two leavers were still on the plow.  One for the depth and one for the leveling.
Remember, this is from memory only but it is the best I can do.

it looks to me like when you raise and lower the plow with the hyd the leaver goes up and down the full range of that quadrat ,  i must have that bar from the wheel  to the leaver hooked up wrong
