That's the differential there is a sun gear and I think it was 4 planet gears in there. The sun gear is keyed to a shaft that runs all the way to the wheel on the other side. The two bolts goin in at an angle press against a nylon bushing that provides limited slip action. The planet gears run on very small pins. It's not very complicated once you take it apart it's pretty easy to figgurout what's wrong. The ones I've had apart the shaft that runs to the other wheel the key way the sun gear sits on has been very trashed. The collar on the outside end keeps the inner axle from sliding out. Once you pull that the differential it's self is keyed to the outer axle.and it slides off. You can lock the diff by turning one ov the planet gears upside down.
