My father inlaw had an allis stored in his garage for 27 years. It looks very old. He has passed and now i am trying to find out what it actually is. I found 2 sets of numbers on the tractor. On the right side of motor it is U 3019 40 on the left side on plate it looks like D 349117PA anyone have an idea what year this would be. ?? Thank you

U 3019 40 is a WD engine casting number perhaps a 1953 model. Would need a serial number from the tractor to be sure.

With that engine casting number and from your picture it is a WD for sure. Without the tractor serial number we can't know the year for sure. They were made from 1948 to 1953.

ok thank you. I will get that this weekend if i can locate it. second question is, are these still tractors people are looking for to bring back to life ? My mother in law is 71 years old and has no use for it. I live in the city so nothing i could do with it other than get it to someone who would be interested in it. My job is to get the garage and property cleaned up to sell. there is also a old metal plow that i would think attatches to this. But has been in the elements for the same amount of years. The motor on the tractor has gone tight sitting in the garage. Any idea of a dollar amount that this would be worth ? we are more trying to just get it off the property to open up space to get at everything else we need to get at.. will try to get that serial number this weekend.

Looks like a $500 unit to me, is it narrow front? Do you have the loader and bucket? Non running will cut price way down but I understand your situation.

Looks like it has a side plate on the block. If it is a side plate that would make it a WD 201 block.

If the rear rims are good and the left tire is as good as the right one there is about $500 in value right there. |

Was just informed there is a bucket and the arms in the back of garage. Now I'm rethinking this offer.

You'll have to post the pics of what other attachments might be out back...Yes, 250 would be on the low side for all of it. 500 give or take would be closer to fair depending on what other attachments there maybe, though most buyers probably would not be interested in acquiring all of it. Also, the price of scrap as been low and the antique tractor market is currently on the soft side for the more common stuff.
To give a bit of a reference to pricing, I just bought this non-running but complete wd45 with extras for $400: Don't know if the motor is seized or not, doesn't matter, I bought it for the wheel weights. When they are in this state, they are generally too far gone for anyone to consider fixing up again, because restoration costs would easily far exceed market value, even when you can get the tractor for free. will be getting more photos on Saturday. Going to get the tractor free of all the stuff that has been stored around it for 27+ years. will also get pics of whats out back . sounds like a springtooth, plow, hay mower, and bucket from what she said is buried out back.

I live North of Wisconsin Dells and just purchased a old partially restored Allis last weekend and it looks very similar - I would be interested in picking this up from you. I need rear tires and interested in a couple of the implements too.

Bucket and brackets are $300, that's what I paid some 5 years ago.
As for the tractor, anybody's guess. I've paid $300 to 600 for a WD, and $1000 for a runner with a bucket that had a bent cyl. my guess, you've got $500 to $800 there in loader and tractor. Not to mention implements. 3pt hitch makes it more.
