Yesterday David Backers, his sons Matthew and Harrison, and I think his Uncle Forest, all hosted the Missouri ALlis Chalmers Club to an open House at their old AC dealership in Kingdom City, Mo. they treated everyone to steak sandwiches, old family films showing off aspects of the old farms and dealership. All in all an awesome afternoon. They are having a sale on November 19th to sell a bunch of old parts, literature, tractors and equipment. There was a bunch of neat old stuff. If you can attend the sale you should. Again thanks to the Backers family for a great day!

We really enjoyed hosting Mike! If nothing else, it forced us to finish up cleaning the shop!

Every time I go to a club function, I make a new friend.

Several guys said we should host the swap meet here some year. We are game for anything. I'm sorry it rained and the fields were too wet to play in them.

Here are a couple pics my son took:

This is one of those days that I will look back at in years to come, and remember that I was at a gathering of friends at a historic AC location. A family owned farm and business that goes back to 1877. What a DAY!!!  Dale Bauer
